HP D4260 Colour Printing Issues

Hi, my father in laws printer is a HP D4260 and he has problems from time to time that the colours change when he's printing. He's had it where the Black does not print and now the Green is printing Orange and the Blue is printing Pink. He's using genuine HP catridges.

When the black didn't work we change it to a dark shade of green which worked OK then a bit later it all started working as normal. Its the same whenther printing on the web or local. Anyone got any ideas? We de-installed and re-installed the driver but still no good, unless it has to be a specific version?

Just to close this one off, I went round and checked it out. First of all I took a wet tissue and wiped the bottom of the cartridge and only Red and Yellow came off on the tissue. This led me to believe that the cartridge is either blocked or more than likely the Blue had run out, even though the indicator was saying that the ink levels were OK, but still only on 20% of the cartridge level. Change the cartridge for new, cleaned and aligned head, job sorted.
