Just bought a new HP Deskjet F4580 and cannot stop the damn thing from printing out an alignment test sheet after every print. I've followed the instructions and scanned the sheet, checked the cartridges, contacts etc. but it still does it.

Has anyone come across this before with HP printers?, did you find an answer? I am drowning under a sea of alignment sheets :(

If it's brand new, I'd suggest either taking it back mate or phoning HP tech support. It could be something simple missed.

So, are they at least aligned ? :p

Also, try uninstalling their drivers and use the generic windows ones to see if it continues.

I think you have to load the alignment page on the scanner glass, and then press the scan button to scan the alignment sheet and complete the installation process.

*soz - just seen you done that already*
