My brother's HP DV6-3130sa laptop has recently died. I wasn't there at the time, but he said the fan started getting louder and the display stopped working. He took it to a repair shop who replaced the fan and housing, but by then the graphics card had already died due to overheating. I was wondering if it is possible to physically disable the dead graphics card (though it is apparently fixed to the motherboard) and just run off the integrated graphics on the CPU? Thanks
