Does anyone know where I can get the recovery media for a HP Elite 8000?

I have the COA for Windows 7 on the case - so it's legit, but I don't have the recovery media for it as it's an ex business system

Thanks

You can add an OEM certificate into an official 'vanilla' Windows ISO if that's any good? I can give instructions how to do this :) What should it have on there? Home Premium or Professional?

I believe that it the case. Basically it works like this:

Download an official Windows 7 ISO. Here is an official download link from Digital River for Windows 7 64-Bit with SP1 integrated (If you want 32-Bit instead that's here).

Add the $OEM$ folder to the disc image in the sources folder with an ISO editor OR copy it to a USB stick with the Windows 7 USB tool and copy it into the sources folder; this contains the digital certificate that matches the SLIC information in the BIOS. I've uploaded the Windows 7 Professional certificate for HP machines here.

A script in the OEM folder activates Windows with a key that works specifically with the SLIC information and BIOS when installing Windows.

Fingers crossed this'll work. I've done the same thing for my Laptop and my sisters HP machine and it worked fine.

Not sure if I was very clear on the folder structure. The $OEM$ folder from that zip needs to go in the sources folder like this:

Windows 7 DVD/USB root>sources>$OEM$
