It's a great looking piece of kit, but far too similar to the Macbook for my liking. It's also similarly expensive.

EDIT: just re-read the article and realised 1) price down 2) spec up

wahey!!!!!

I disagree completely, look but ugly imo. It has the mutated macbook look about it. Macbooks aren't exactly pretty anyway but the extra lumps make this look even worse. :p

If so it will last around 5 minutes...

Having said that the vast majority of people who buy laptops have them plugged in their entire lives anyway so it won't bother most people.

it does run hot, i think its the hardrive. its only 1.8" and runs at 7200rpm. scores 5.9 in windows 7 benchmark, just like most desktops.

i've had the laptop always on for the past 2 weeks. no overheating problems. so its meant to run hot. temps between 50 to 80

i've been playing a lot of games like resident evil 5, need for speed shift, runs amazing.

when i first saw this laptop at my local retailers i thought it looked bland. but after owning it, other laptops just looked cheap or oversized lol.

there is an optional 9 cell secondary battery which attaches at the bottom.

Saw the i7 version of this in the purple shop and it was pretty hot just running it's little purple shop screen saver. Still, very nice looking laptop in the flesh. Miles nicer than all the Sony's etc they had there.
