Hello
Got a g6-1390sa with a failing HDD so want to replace with an SSD. Problem is the bios is pretty basic and I have no way of making sure the sata is set to AHCI, ro even if it is supported anyway. Wondering how important this is for SSD?.
thanks
*EDIT* Never mind. Managed to get into Windows (7) on the failing drive and see it has an Intel AHCI driver listed as running in device manager.
