HP Jetdirect 175X

Hi,

I have a HP Jetdirect 175x USB print server. When I have a HP laser printer connected, the test button prints a confguiration page successfully.

When I conect my Canon IP800 printer, and press the test print button, nothing happens.

Is it where this printer is not compatible with this print server.

Any comments would be great.

Yep, looks like it's not compatible.
HP printers pretty much use PCL (Printer Command Language) and I imagine that's what the print server sends for the test page. The Canon printer does not support this.

you may still get the printer working on the 175x even if the test button does not work.

Just give it ago
