Hp Laptop/cannot get up boot menu

SO not long ago, dropped my laptop during whilst it was on, HDD got shocked/corrupt. Replaced it with a 128gb SSD now. Got a windows ISO for it and used rufus and put it on the usb to make it bootable.

But when I want to try get the boot menu up or choose priority to select device to boot from..it doesnt give me the f12 option on start up. Just starts, black screen..and then goes into the BIOS.

Any help on how/what to do?

In the BIOS you should be able to change the boot order.

What make is the laptop?, it might be a different hotkey.

Have you tried pressing the F12 button as soon as you see the black screen?

I figured it out guys, no worries, had to enable this option and secure boot >.<
