I am looking at these 2 printers just now, the HP Laserjet 9500HDN and the Xerox Phaser 7750. Both are about £4700 exc vat.

Has anyone got any experience of these two?

Just now I am trying to find some reviews, but it does not look like normal review sites review these sort of printers :D

Any other printers out there? Canon does not seem to have any. Maybe Minolta...

Needs to be:

Fast
High quality image prints
High capacity paper trays
Duplex printing
A3
Close to edge printing
Hard disk
Lots of memory
Low running costs

Well the normal sort of needs :)

I guess everyone has one of these printers on their desk :p

I'm looking colour lasers for work. We already have a cheapo minolta which is ok but not special. We also have an OKI, which costs a fortune to run and isn't very user friendly (the office staff call us out to change the cartridges). It's also got cack print quality.

I have no idea about quality or reliability, but Kycera Mita have low running costs. That's our front runner to replace our OKI at the moment.

Xerox Phaser's are the don's.
Yup - got the 6250DT here, which was bought to replace an aging OKI C7200.

Both great printers - and given its age, the OKI still stacks up quite well (it's used in our 2nd IT room). The Xerox is mighty impressive though.

We've a budget Minolta too (Magicolor 2300 DL), and it does the business. No thrills, though it takes an age to warm up.

Generally I stick to OKI or Xerox when researching though.
