Got a bit of a problem with our LHN nodes that I can't seem to get my head round. We're trying to transfer a volume from one cluster (remote location) to another (head office location). We've taken a snapshot of that volume and then created a remote snapshot on another cluster.
We've then waiting for it to transfer which has now completed fine. What we're wanting to do is convert the remote snapshot to a primary volume so that we can use this volume at this new site and eventually remove the orginal volume (and its snapshot) at the remote site.
What I can't understand is how to make the remote snapshot into a primary volume. Can anyone help?
FYI, the LHN nodes are all running v8.5 of the iQ SAN firmware
