lol after changing my mind about a thousand times ive gone with the recomendation on here the HP LP2475w 24" i hope i will not be dissapointed for gaming lol thanks for all the help guys

y0 - pc gaming or ps3?

I just bought one also - very nice screen.

But bear in mind that the screen with its high resolution and near perfect image quality will quickly show you when something is sub standard.

Also ps3 gaming: Grand Theft Auto 4 ive been told is around 640p, not the stated 1080p, bit of a downer - it looks awful on this screen.

But then killzone 2 and others, wipeout hd, gran turismo etc.. look amazing.

~But some 720p ps3 games will not look too great.. this can be controlled in image control however, with varying results.

PC gaming is great... Crysis, HL2...!!

Enjoy...

that all i want it for is pc use thank god lol if i wanted to use a console personally i think id buy a tv for console games

Post back how you like it. I am so torn between the LP2475w and the 2408WFP.

Well if this helps you any?
I have the 2407WFP HC, which is almost the same as the 2408 and I've never had any issues in any games. I play CSS frequently and it runs fine. :) - amongst other games.

My company is buying it for me so I think I might go with the HP as it's more expensive, then send it back and get the Dell if I don't like it. That way I won't have to pay the difference.

Gonna be ordering mine up soon, already sold the old monitor and currently using an old 17" 4:3 HP monitor lol

MW

well all i can say is WOW what a monitor i am glad i never went for the other options i had now worth the extra and the quality is amazing

Haha, yeah, I got that too. I used to think the screens we have at school were good, at least compared to my laptop's, but since getting my NEC, everything else looks crap. I also can't stand using anything smaller than 24" now, it feels so cramped and weird.

Had the Dell, hated it, got the Hazro, loved it, got the updated revision, hated it (glossy screen), finally got the HP, love it.
