I think you will find that the calibration settings (and ICC profiles) on TFTCentral for the HP LP2475w will give you good results... if after having used them you feel that the colour rendering could be better, then maybe looking into a hardware calibrator.
Ah, cool. Thanks for the link - I will definitely try those settings before I buy a calibrator. I bet it'll be a lot better than my TN panel even without adjustment
