Hi peeps
Currently have my HP setup as the following
80gb SSD running windows 8 - XBMC
4 x 2TB HDD storing movies/music/pictures running hardware raid 1 on two sets
this is all connected to my tv and i can remote into it via the laptop
Now i have brought an acer revo to take over the XBMC side of things meaning the HP can be moved somewhere else. ( a little big for next to the TV )
On the Acer i want to just run xbmc ( openelec )
On the HP i need to run something that allows me to remote into it and take control of downloads (need i say more) i want it to be a download box as well as storage.
whats my best option for the hp? or is what i currently use ok? i was toying with the idea of linux for better raid options but i fear losing all my data on the HDD's?
