It was never a good idea to put the mouse buttons either side of the touchpad.

I prefer the piano black one, but I can see why someone might like the red one.

Also, I agree about the touchpad buttons; putting them either side of the touchpad is horrible to use, let alone live with.

Keyboard on the old model was amazing.

Hope this is based on the same design, as now uses the Atom, the old VIA ones were too slow for anything.

Apparently the build quality isn't as good as their previous netbook, but it's still of a good standard.

I think they've outsourced it to a third party whereas the old one was all HP-done

Compaq, who are owned by HP are bringing out their own version of this netbook for the UK. Its called the Compaq Mini 700. Looks to have slightly better spec's and its cheaper... Wonder what the catch is?
