I recently upgraded the ML115G5 firmware for both the BIOS and the optional LO100 remote management card. Since this upgrade the remote virtual console menu item has disappeared in the web management interface.

The LO100 card currently has version 3.20 of the firmware, I didn't note the old version but I think it was 3.01.

Anybody else have this problem? and is it fixable? It's a real PITA as I run the server headless in utility room cupboard.

Can't believe I figured this out minutes after posting. The virtual KVMS only works if the LO100 card is using the dedicated ethernet port. I had it connected in shared NIC mode whereby it uses the main Broadcom Gigabit port for both OS LAN access and management access.

Hopefully this note will help someone else in the future!
