So I was looking to sort a laptop with good battery life yet decent performance on a budget, and came across the HP NW8000 workstation. As well as a 15" 1600x1200 display, 2Ghz Pentium M processor and dual battery bays (nearly 10 hours with both occupied), it comes equipped with a 128MB ATI FireGL T2 graphics chip.
A little poking around, and it seems the T2 is a higher clocked version of the Radeon 9600 Pro desktop adapter. With an appropriate driver, the T2 becomes suitable for 3D gaming. Along with the other perks of the NW8000, a pretty good find at less than £130![Smile :) :)](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/smile.gif)
