i have a hp dv9850ea laptop which is overheating,you can actually feel the heat rising through the keyboard, this is causing issues with the graphics chip i have taken it apart and reapplied arctic silver to the graphics chip and cpu which as helped a little but the fan never seems to kick in enough.
Question, is there any software i could use to enable the fan to run at a steady pace to try and keep things cool i have updated the firmware and have ordered a cooler..
