hp pavailion dv6000 problem

i got a bit of a problem with my new laptop. i bought hp pavailion dv6000 and it came with installed vista operating system. i don't like vista so i tried to install xp but during the install my windows xp disc said it couldn't regonise some controller and would continue. does anyone know what's the problem and how can i install windows xp on it?

maybe it needs a sata driver to see the hard drive

thanks for suggestion i found the sata drivers on hp website. i did some work with nlite program and now it's installing xp sweet
