HP Pavilion DV5-1111EA

cool, so it wont have any problems producing a image thats a hell of a lot larger than its own screen? graphics card wont struggle?

also is it quite a good laptop?

The Graphics wll handle 1920x1080 easily!!... as thats what its designed for!... thats why theres a HDMI socket!!!

my mate is letting me transfer a few High def movies off his external hard drive later, just wondering what will i need to play these? do they play in media player?

also he reckons a pc will struggle to play these HD movies.. im confused?

cheers for your help mate, i will try that player

No problem :)

sorry to hijack this thread but is this laptop good job? I can get it on special offer in work for £450 approx. Pavilion range seems good.

They're very good in my opinion, look smart and are well built. I work for HP though, so maybe I'm biased :)

I'm just about to hit 'Buy' on a HDX16-1005EA, was looking at the HDX18 but the extra 2.4 inches arn't worth £200 to me!!..

another weird one, does it have optical out for sound or is that asking to much from a laptop of this price?

Don't think it does (not looking at specs), but HDMI carries the sound if that'll do.

Ah so do I! Thats why the price is good!

Yep, very good prices on EEP atm. What part of HP do you work in?
