HP Pavilion dv6000

Ever since my girlfriends son had a littl fiddle with the laptop, the screen has got a big red line going vertically down the screen about 3/4 of the way along the screen.

I'm guessing the screen is b0rked, or could it be something else?

yeah definately unfixable, the pcb on the back of panel will have been damaged usually caused by pressure or a knock, replacement screen time.
