Hi there,

I'm trying to set up an HP ML110 D7 server to run Windows XP.

The trouble I'm having is that HP only support Server 2008 and newer OSes so finding drivers is proving to be something of a pain!

Most work fine on the default windows drivers so this isn't a massive issue but where I DO need to find compatible drivers for is:

- The chipset (works on windows driver but I'm not convinced it will run as well as it should)

- on board graphics (again, works fine on default VGA driver but since this system will be running various camera software having properly functional graphics drivers is somewhat vital!)

- On board NIC (it wont be much of a server without any network connectivity!)

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer!

ESX server running XP as a virtual machine?

I presume you need to run XP because the camera software will only run on that?

Drivers should be interchangeable in any version of Windows 6.x (Vista/7/8/Server2k8/Server2k11) but they won't work in XP (Windows 5.x era) as you know (Server 2K3 ones would but HP don't appear to have any) have you tried reading up what gfx/nic are in the machine then searching to see if you can get XP drivers form the manufacturer? afaik all the GPU manufacturers still support XP.
