HP Smart Array E200 Controller, "which cable"

Hi Guys, I'me sure you can help me,

Ok, I have a ml115 server just bought it, now I,ve also bought a HP Smart Array E200 Controller, and I now need a cable so that I can connect my 4 sata drives to it, and hopefully install ESXi to it.

I am a bit confused as to what cable I need.

Is this the cable I need 430479-B21 or is it this one 464830-B21 from the link http://www.serversdirect.co.uk/SATA_SAS_Cables/prod.asp
I did a search on it and cant seem to find it in stock anywhere.

E200 has SAS internal ports, did it not come with any cables?

If not you'll want to direct your efforts at finding a SAS to SATA cable.

Thats taken out of the HP Product Bulletin catalog. So it seems your right with your first choice.
Love HP kit but it can be a mine field making sure you have all the cables.

This is correct. You need this part code for the E200 (or any other SAS controller for that server.
