Hey,

I've started using my Xbox 360 on my HP w2228h 22" Flatscreen Monitor which has HDMi. The monitor has built in speakers which are, as you would expect, very poor.

Is there any way/adapter that would allow me to plug in my External Speakers? or would I have to go through an AMP? If so what kind of AMP would I need?

The HP Monitor has no Audio out jack, just a Audio in.

Thanks,

Mark

Edit:- Hope this is the right section, being kinda AMP related :)

I have the HP w2408h and had a similar problem. I had to get the digital audio adaptor lead and plug the Xbox into my speakers that way.

Nah, nothing to do with HDMI. It's a different shape audio plug that allows you to fit both the HDMI plug and an optical lead into the back of the Xbox at the same time.

I was hoping to plug in my Logitech Z2300 using a standard audio jack some how.

I'm guessing I'll need a AMP of some sort then?
