So, as a proud Pre 3 owner, I believe this is a fantastic oppertunity for open source, HP hardware and the possibility of new hardware to be supported.
I'm not the biggest fan of Android due to it's iffy licencing structure and Googles 'I can do whatever I want' attitude, so I only see this as being a good thing, to get another Linux based tablet/phone framework out there.
