Hi Guys,

I am currently building a High Performance Computer, It would be used for multiple purposes :-

1) Would be using Hashcat for Cracking passwords (Hence the 2 HD7970's)

2) Running 10-15 VM's at a time.

3) Would need to store a huge rainbow table collection. (4 TB )

Could you please take a look at my spec below and comment on my build.

Maybe get some R9 280X's instead of the 7970s as I think the 280X's are basically the next gen of the 7970s so I'd go for those instead. Dunno what Hashcat is tbh, do they specifically need 7970s or so?

You won't need a 1KW psu for 7970CF. A good 850W will be fine.

I would also look at some cheaper Ram unless you specifically need the Corsair ?

Same for the Motherboard, unless you need the features of the Asus board. The Gigabyte Sniper is a great board for half the price.

I see that you intend to have a Raid 0 setup for storing that rainbow table, I hope you have some sort of backup, as 4TB of data is quite a lot to lose if one of those HD's packs up
