HPI check from main dealer?

As title, if you were buying a car from a main dealer, would you pay for an HPI check?

If you mean would you perform a hpi check yourself, then yes but I'm paranoid and wouldn't trust anyone even a main dealer. For your own peace of mind the small cost is worth it.

Last time i bought a car from a main dealer they gave me a copy of the HPI check they did themselves. They also normally have a guarantee that all their vehicles are comprehensively HPI checked (not write-offs/outstanding finance e.t.c)

Similar to above, when I've bought from a mason dealer they provided a copy of the hpi check. I also assume I would have some comeback from them if it were to turn out incorrect at a later date. So yea I would trust it.

When I have bought from main dealers in the past they have always supplied a copy of the HPI check - never been too worried about buying from a main dealer.

Yeah makes sense that they would provide it. Either way the comeback really is on them (and on their brand) so even if there were an issue, it shouldn't be an issue..
