As per my other thread, looking at chopping in my GSX and getting a Honda Transalp.
Where do you guys HPI check vehicles? The HPI website seems incredibly expensive at £20 a check!
If it's the only option then I'll have to pay it but are there any other reliable sites that will HPI check cheaper?

Thanks guys.
It had an advisory last year for:
Steering movement slightly 'notchy' (2.2.1b).
Bit of research suggests dodgy headstock bearings. Is this an expensive fix?

I went and saw it today, had a little poodle on it round the block and seemed alright to me but I'm hopeless at looking for these things. Think I get too excited lol.
Will ask about the headstock bearings tomorrow!
My issue is there is a very clean looking one (clicky) but its in bloody Blackpool might ring and ask about a part ex but doubt they'd be keen without seeing it...

Haha that's a cracking little work around.

Just spoken to the dealer in Blackpool and reckon I'll end up going with that one. It's cost me an extra £100 but will come with warranty and 12 months MOT. Feels like a bit of a no brainier...

Cheers for the help all.

Certainly can't, deposit paid now. Delivery not til next Tuesday due to the London show taking up all their vans.
