Just picked up one of these but I need a DVI-HDMI converter and I'm getting slightly confused because a few shops now say they only have a DVI-D or DVI-I adaptor and they're not sure it will work.

I have a Leadtek 8800GT 512mb card and the TFT is of course HDMI...

can someone point me to the exact cable I need to work this, please?

I realise that Sean, what I meant was which converter am I supposed to be getting? There seems to be multiple DVI to HDMI converters for DVI-D, DVI-I, DVI-something else. There's male to female, female to male...it's really confusing
 
Not sure it makes much difference. I went to the local outlet of a national chain of electrical distributors and just picked up the first DVI to HDMI converter I found and it works.
 
Don't bother getting a converter.

I bought a 2.5M DVI to HDMI video cable for £7.50 delivered.

Can't tell you where because of forum rules. just google DVI to HDMI
