How easy would it be to install these two products onto my 8800GT?

Is there any tutorials online before I decide if I am confident enough to fit them. Never done this before.

Also, what 92mm fan would you recommend to go with the HR-03. I have been thinking about the Red Wing 92mm as it is relatively quiet with good air flow.

Hope someone can help,

Johnny.

I'm just a bit wary incase I don't fit it right and end up with a dud 8800GT, especially after spending a bit of money buying it. What about attaching the fan onto the cooler? Is it secure when placed on top of the HR-03?

I have the evga superclocked crysis edition, will changing the cooler void the warranty?

Thanks again.

why would it become dud?

and basically the cooler comes with the fan clips and it is secure enough to hold the card by the fan, also the thermalright comes with its own memory heatsinks

just clean the core and memory with tim remover like akasa tim remover =

i just poored a little into a plastic container and dabbed some glasses cleaning cloth into it and onto the chips only took a few seconds and i used Arctic silver 5 on the core (but the thermalright comes with its own paste) the heatsinks have pre affixed heat adhesive pads

and AFAIK EVGA allow cooler changes

i'll probably just order it with a fan but try it without first. not even got my card yet, so i won't be getting this until the new year anyway.

No they don't fall off if you clean the ram properly with tim cleaner before putting the sinks on.
Currently idle at 30c with an 800rpm fan gaming is 40c fur benchmark 46c.

The S1 is an amazing cooler, have it on my 1950pro with no fans attached but the side case fan blowing over it and it idles between 30-35 and under load doesnt go above 50.

Very impressive for 18 quid.
