HS100i Fitting

Hi,

Quick question, when fitting the Corsair HS100i to a 1151 Mobo should the back-plate be tight against the back of the mobo after fitting the stand offs or not?, I've screwed in all four stand offs finger tight and then put one of the thumb nuts on each standoff and tightened a bit more but there is still a few mm between the back-plate and back of the mobo, is this gap\play gonna be taken up when the Cooler is actually fitted to the CPU?

This gap disappears when you screw the cooler to the CPU. I think it is there to allow a little wriggle room when fitting to the CPU.

One additional question if I may, what's opinion on fan fitting?, the booklet recommends having them as Intakes?
