Just grabbed one of these for the Mrs's new rig, going to be fitting an E7200 in there.

Now this entry level shuttle doesn't come with the usual ICE cooler, and I really don't want to use the terrible stock Intel HSF, so i'm looking at a nice Low Profile cooler.

Does anyone know if the Scythe Shuriken or the Alpenföhn Panorama would fit?


Finding it very hard to get any info on what coolers will actually work!

The NB Heatsink is very close to the CPU socket, so really needs to be a cooler that isn't much bigger than the stock cooler, unless it raises up before it spreads out!
 
Alpenföhn Panorama is an awesome little cooler. I have fitted it on a couple of machines now it really blows the itel stock rubbish. it can tame a Q9650 and easilt tamr an overclocked 8400 in a SGO5. I fitted it on the Zotac 9300 mini itx board and it cleard the north bridge cooler if that helps at all.
 
If anyone is wondering, I ended up grabbing a Arctic Cooler Alpine 7 Pro, and that just grazes in under the PSU.

So that would be the max height of a cooler you could fit in one of these.
