HT Leads Question

We're looking for some spark plug leads for my dads Hyundai Sonata (2000).

Now speaking with the local mechanic he said we need two, and mentioned something about pencil plugs or sockets or something? :confused:

On the 'bay all I can see is 4 HT Leads, now what on earth is he on about?

Yeah! Think that was it!? Not that I know what they are or do, but as the mechanic said 'You just need two, because the others are....(as you said above) pencil coils.'

Now is that what I need to do, buy 2 leads instead of the normal 4pack that seem to be all over the 'bay?
