HTC Desire contract good or average?

Ok I will admit I have limited knowledge of Android phones so when I got a call from my provider (three) to upgrade my handset I had a quick look while on the phone .
Now I can send it back if its not a good deal but here goes:-

HTC Desire
500 Anytime Mins
3000 Texts
5000 Mins 3 to 3 (mostly useless as all my calls are to other networks)
500MB Internet

24 Month contract
£22 a month

Will the Internet allowance be enough, my intention would be to use it for internet browsing but with all the various apps available I might be missing something and need more allowance.

Please give me your input, Im new to Android.

Ps I can have the Sony X10 mini pro with same mins texts but with 2 GB internet on 18 month contract for £18 a month but I liked the Desire more.

Seems OK, I pay £25 for the same apart from I have 1GB internet & 5000 texts (with 3 too).

£35 p/m then £7,50 insurance brings that to £42.50 24m contract
 
Bought my desire sim-free and got a great monthly rolling contract deal from Orange:

I bought my Desire (Z) sim free for £332.
On a 12 month sim only contract with t-mobile which gives 600 mins, 500 texts, unlimited landline calls, 3GB internet for £7.50/month. If i calculate the total over 2 years it's £21.33/month.
