Works ok for me
download the hybrid1.72 attachment and if using CWM3 then you need the amend2edify_v1.0.1.0.zip file from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=903598 which converts the hybrid1.72 from an amend script to an edify script

Download amend2edify_v1.0.1.0.zip tool -> Unpack -> Copy hybrid1.72 zip to that folder -> Launch exe -> Go to Options -> check Desire HD -> Open zip file with program -> Save file -> copy the now converted hybrid1.72.zip to root of sdcard and flash with CWM3
 
Ok now im in a pickle think i just destroyed mah phone :o
after flashing with cwm3 it rebooted and its stuck on the green HTC white background screen and wont come out of it.

Pull the battery (you wont hurt it) and try and turn it on again.

Make sure you've waited at least 10 minutes or so first though, some things can take a while.
 
well i pulled the battery and reflashed and restarted and its doing the same **** could the problems im getting be becuse of this : AdvancedPowerMenu184

cause i wasnt sure they where compatible ect.

either way i think im going to have to do a wipe and reflash of the rom :/
 
Hmmm, when I enable internet, even when no apps are open, 3g watchdog reports my usage as increasing?

I have roaming off, and 'always on mobile data' switched off. So why is my phone using my bandwidth? :o

Android's in-built battery usage list doesn't shed any light? Menu -> Settings -> About Phone -> Battery -> Battery use

I had this a couple of months ago - using http://www.appbrain.com/app/systempanellite-task-manager/nextapp.systempanel (showing system processes) I traced it down to a process that handles the calendar, then I saw that the google calendar was syncing constantly, but a later software update fixed this (1.72).

Maybe you have something similar? something that is constantly syncing in the background perhaps
 
On GSMArena it says LCD, but someone mentioned to me they started using SLCD? Just wondering. o:

Also what is the best minimalistic and fastest rom out there atm for the HD?

Phones comes on Tuesday and I want to be ready to root and put a nice ROM on it to play with a work! :3

I keep getting "error while downloading from server" for the Flash ClockworkMod Recovery, starting to annoy me a bit. My connection is fine as well.
