Ok, I'm figuring someone else here has had this problem before.... I however have spent the last two hours going through Google searches, and the massive manual and have not yet found a solution to this problem....

Basically, for a few of my contacts, (not all) the phone is prioritising the Facebook number over the standard number. The worst part of it is, is that when I link my Facebook account to the phone 'account' as such, unlike other contacts, where it will still display the phone numbers, so I can easily press and hold "use this as primary number" the numbers for the other names disappears, even though it is still linked in.... So basically I'm stuck HAVING to call the number listed on the facebook page, which isn't inputted so that you can actually call it and therefore it doesn't work....

This is doing my head in, so any help is appreciated!

I would Factory Reset the phone, add your contacts back onto the phone, then sign into facebook and link the duplicated phone and facebook contacts together. pressing Menu "view" will also give you option for facebook and google accounts. cant say I have ever had an issue with priority tho.

no need to factory reset, simply clear the contacts storage, HTC sense facebook storage and let your phone sync them again (assuming your contacts aren't just stored on the phone, in which case backup first!!) and you might need to link them, as above.

Sounds very odd, i've never had that kind of issue.

I have the same problem on mine. It happens because of Facebook putting in the +44 instead of 0 on phone numbers.
There isn't a real way to change the number, but there is a work around.
Add the mobile number again to the same contact as 'other' or something. Set that as the preferred number, and it will use that one instead of the Facebook one.
