Hi all

I was thinking of getting my girlfriend a HTC desire sim free for Christmas just wondering if anyone knew best place to get it cheap and if price is likely to fall like a rock soon?

I'd get her a desire z as it has a better gpu etc and the price isn't much different but that's me, it's also pretty much certain it will get gingerbread while the desire may not...

Also is there any difference between the white desire and the normal one apart from the colour?

They're all the same bar the different colours, my grey one is no different to my friends Orange branded black Desire though he has more pre-installed crap on his than mine. As for a place to get one on the cheap, I got mine from Ebay for £270 but I've seen them going for as low as £220. You've just got to keep looking, the prices have dropped slightly since the release of the HD at least.
