HTC Evo 3d - does it work in the US?

I have a HTC Evo 3D, bought in the UK.
I understand there are differences between the mobile networks of UK and USA. Will I be able to use my phone in the USA?

I know about roaming charges, I'll get a prepaid sim over there, if I use it much.

yeah should do. i think it is compatible with us networks.

Yes. I have my old EVO 3D sitting in front of me. It worked with a UK sim card, and also with a T-Mobile Sim card as well just fine (which means it should also work on AT&T if you really wanted to get ripped off).

One of the things you can do is go to Walmart and buy their value SIM card to use it in. (about 30 dollars or something like that).

Thanks. Is your evo 3d the uk version, with the gold rim around the camera, or the american version with the red rim?
