looking at getting one sim free had the magic before but sold it as you really had to press on the screen when typing anyone who has this phone can u advise if the keyboard is fluid as im using a iphone at the mo and want something that responds lioke the iphone

The HTC Hero touchscreen is capacitive like the iPhone (and oleophobic like the 3GS), so it should be as good. It's resistive touchscreens that need pressure to work.
