HTC LCD replacement

Okay.. long story short this weekend was a bit more pricey than i thought. Managed to put a deep scratch onto my HTC Magic screen.

Don't have insurance on it (Vodafone were ment to call back to ask me after my first month. Kept doing it when i was working. When i asked to call on a certain day they didn't - but never mind)

I'm willing to pay to have it replaced? Anyone know where would be the best place? Send it back to Vodafone? Will they do it?

Or use a company like "http://www.mobilephonerepairs.co.uk/home.asp"
has anyone used them? I am currently awaiting a quote.

The phone is still usable.. I just dont like it having a bit scratch down it.

I have just replaced the digitiser on my touch diamond 2. It really was not too difficult.

I would suggest that you have look on ebay for the LCD module and have a look on google for instructions. That will give you a good idea of cost and complexity.
