I've just realised I can now see paid apps. They definitely weren't there before. When did this happen?!! Tempted to start buying games...

in google maps street view can any one view the street by just moving the phone ?

Yes. You need to turn on the digital compass though. It's in the menu when you're in street view.

So just had an update on my Magic...anyone else get a message about a system update??.

Yes mine has just had an update - didn't say what it was though?

Apparently it is just a security update which doesn't add any functionality.

For me, it was simply due to the fact that I didn't want to wait for the samsung even though I think it is a better phone. The main draw for me was the operating system itself so a better camera (and maybe very slightly smaller size) wasn't worth waiting for in my case. It is clear that the samsung is technically a better phone though.

Does anyone else have a slight swelling of the casing on the left hand side? It's like a small bump in the silver bit. Quite subtle but annoying imperfection.

I'm going to france tomorrow and was just wondering what I can use on my phone without having to pay loadsamoney to vodaphone. For example will I get charged for using the digital compass or gps? Also is there a way to download the maps in google maps or skymap so I can view them offline?
