Hi there,

I was in the gym last week and put a dumbell on my leg which put a big dent in the phone and damaged the screen. The micro usb port has been very temperamental for a while now and takes some time getting the correct angle for it to charge :/

I have till June 2016 until I can upgrade so im looking for something to last me 9 months then I will most likely sell it.

Before I had the HTC I had a iPhone 4S which I really liked as I could put all my music on it and plug it into the car via usb and charge it/play music. For some reason my HTC comes up with a error which I looked into and my head unit doesn't support it.

I have seen a refurbished iPhone 5 for £130-£150 with 12 months warranty. 9 months from now ile be selling it anyway to get possibly the iPhone 6S.

Anyone think I should go for the iPhone or get something else around the £100 mark?

Thanks

Seems like a nice price for the 5. If you usually use the phone with your car that is only compatible with iOS then go for it.

I did buy a 160GB iPod classic for the car because of my HTC. Just nice when you can charge the phone as well as play music while driving. My girl friend has a Sony Xperia Z3 compact which is android which works via usb on the head unit though :S

I did look at a Samsung S4 but they look/feel very plastic.

The S4 is like a sidegrade from the M7 :p.

If that's the case then it might be something to do with Sense. Could maybe go for a cheap Moto E and see if that's compatible. There's also a Wileyfox Swift for around £129 which uses Cyanogen OS.
