Evening all,

Earlier this evening (like a fool) I dropped my phone, after picking it up it was turned off, and ever since I've been having major issues with it, the android system usage is constantly at 80%+ the phone is running really hot and restarts, it also fails to charge properly (charging slowly).

(my worst fear is that the phone is completely broken). I've scoured the web and tried many of the fixes but none of them have seemed to do anything. So I'm just wondering whether anyone has experienced a similar thing and managed to fix it?

Thanks in advance :)

I can't help with the first issue (maybe a factory reset is in order?), but mine also started to charge erratically, having to be in really specific positions and then saying it wasn't charging when it was plugged in, till it eventually stopped charging completely. I thought it was a goner, but I bought a replacement USB port from ebay for like £3 and managed to disassemble and replace it, despite being a complete clumsy oaf when it comes to these delicate things. Reassembled it and it works like a charm. Was rather chuffed at myself. There are multiple guides on Youtube you can easily follow. All in all took me about 20 minutes to complete.

That's what I thought too, but I read that a few people had tried the factory reset but the issue(s) were still persisting so I'm putting it off for now. I'll take a look into that and see what I can find, thanks :)
