HTC Press event today

EE have already done that haven't they? They're not going to release it to any non LTE networks, pretty sure of that.

Will be interesting to see what they offer, but I can't see them swaying my choice of going for the Nokia Lumia 920.

I really want a 920 too but I wonder how many people will change their mind when they get hold of it.. it's quite a monster from what I understand.

The 8X which is what I expect to see announced today is allegedly lush.

3xwp8 phones, high, middle and low budget offering. Be interesting to see what they are like. Be hard pressed to beat the lumias though. But I hope they pull it out the bag, healthy competion is good.

Don't want to derail but why are Windows phones still being made? I've never seen anyone use one and I think i'm right in assuming that it'll die just like their Zune venture and pretty much everything else that isn't software.

They're holding my One S hostage

que?

You're not. End of basically.

There's a longer story but to be honest I doubt you're interested.

this, oh and troll.

I assume he means they haven't released new android for it. that's what you get when you don't have Os wide update release like ios and WP.

:o

I'll let you have the first punch Glaucus. :D

I'm up for a contract renewal in Nov, so I am interested in a Windows 8 phone. I'm bored of the android/apple interface, and Windows 7.5 is actually quite refreshing and slick on my wife's Lumia 610. The screen is also quite good on it. I'd probably just want the cheapest Windows 8 phone possible though, just for email and MP3s, since I have an iPad and I don't take it with me if I'm going out after work.
