HTC Touch Data usage

Just got my HTC Touch HD on Orange. Is there anyway to keep track of the data usage as I have the 500mb per month bundle?

I don't use one myself so can't recommend any specific but you probably just need to search for some free Windows Mobile GPRS/Data monitor software. Have a Google

EDIT: Googled myself, have a look for Spb GPRS Monitor V2.5.1

I've been using it over last week, have racked up ~300mb over wifi in that time. this has been mainly watching tv shows online, so I'd struggle to keep in the 500mb limit if I did this over 3g.

I've had my touch hd on orange racoon 30 with 500mb web(£29.47/month) for a month now(well have had the phone for just over a month with 'new' contract starting on 26th jan), I don't get out enough to use the web over 3g so may drop the £5/month 500mb web for now(get it again if/when I start using it).

I think youll find there are always wifi connections around but the 500MB would be nice to have for when there isn't. YOu know when your just really bored and need like 30 min to kill. Otherwize youll probably end up paying 1.50 every time you do a lil surfin on the net, tahts gona really add up.

orange used to bundle a grps monitor with winmobile handsets (a while back now) do they still do so?

well if they do, it wasn't with the touch hd that I could find.

I've just got a HD touch today on orange also, im having bother connecting to tinternet using wifi, its connecting to the router ok but if i try to open a page up in opera or ie its giving me some grief saying the page requested can only be opened with orange internet, probably just me being daft but im at a loss atm, guess ill crack the book open

Got my HTC Touch HD today and i think its great like said it would be nice if i could monitor my usage any one no of free programs!

Can you not just check the phones data usage online?

Just register your number and you should be able to do so no problem!

I just check my usage on there from time to time should i suspect it to be high

I don't get the data used shown in the 'view bundles balance' option, got mins, txts & video calling(the free 2/3 months that you get with a new contract/upgrade). in change bundles at the top where it tells you what you have, it does say 500mb web.

I need to phone and ask as looking at the 'usage since last bill' has got ~£1.25 under data.
