So, with a Vive on the way, what can I do to start prepping for playing early?
I have loads of Oculus rift demos from my DK2 that I'll try in the Vive but I want some newer, Vive only, ones.
Is there a specific place to get room scale VR games on Steam?
Do HTC have their own software download section?
 
It's all done through Steam (and SteamVR), HTC is just the hardware partner.

Most Vive-specific games won't be on the Steam store until next Tuesday, there are some that support both main HMDs that are available now, but a lot of the "demos" that people have been using with the Vive Pre have been unlocked to developers only.

The main tech demo will be Valve's own "The Lab" which contains over a dozen VR experiences that cover most bases.

On a slightly different note - where can you demo the actual hardware?

I would like to see how good it is before investing etc...
 
Thanks for the link! Didn't realise my local Currys in Birstall had a demo going, might go done and give it a go after work!
