Bit of an odd one....

HTC Wildfire on Orange, now running Froyo.

Wireless base station is an apple airport extreme (dual band version)

Up until I went to Froyo, all was well, even after Froyo all seemed ok for a couple of days, but now, I'm totally unable to connect to my Wifi.

I have tried all the usual stuff, changing wifi channels, deleting the details from my phone and re-entering them a hundred times, restarting the airport extreme... but nothing seems to work.

I'm a little unsure what might be causing this, as other 2.4ghz wifi devices are connecting to the airport just fine.

In the wifi screen on the phone it just infinitely cycles *Scanning, Connecting, Disconnected*

Ideas?

Thanks for the links, posted in the support and troubleshooting section of the wildfire forum.

Guy at work has the same issue with a different router to me... apparently the baseband commands on the wildfire were changed as part of the froyo upgrade?
