Hi, this should be a pretty simple request im guessing for you guys.

But can provide me with some html code we can use for an internal intranet site.

We have recently launched it and now we want to get some figures on how many people visit it and how regularly.

When you say internal intranet site - although it's on a web server, is it available outside your building?

If not Google analytics wont work.

No its only available internally. I have googled it already and most of them tell you to download a counter.

Im just looking for code we can add which simply tells us how many visits have been made to the site.

Rather than re-inventing the wheel, could you not just parse the server logs with Awstats or something?

Were trying to avoid having to install anything on the servers.

Is there just no simple code which says how many visits there has been to the site at all?

Yes, but you'll need to write it with a service side script such as php or asp. Try Googling php page counter.
