HTML help files (& .CHM) - Best/easiest method of creating them?

My other half needs to create some HTML help files (possibly also in .CHM). Can Frontpage do this easily?

I've played with HelpNDoc, and that seemed very easy to use.

Anyone had any experience in this area?

Took a look at that and it looks terrible? The 'about' implies it's a 9yr old application. It look very unfriendly

Surely there's something a bit more modern and more importantly friendly?

Yeah it is horrible and 9 yrs old

But its the only thing I could think of off the top of my head
