HTML to FLASH PROBLEM

Hey guys,

I just created a flash movie I exported it as .html.

When i open the file localy from my USB pen I it works fine, I have some videos and music files on flash movie, but when I try and upload the files to a FTP hosting server they don't seem to work, is there a way I can upload them? or maybe embed them into the flash file some how?

OK, sorry yeh here is the link to the website
Basicly once the intro finishes, and you go on the actual website, when you go on audio and try to play the files, they are not playing, because I am loading them externly with code I put in flash, and my videos are not playing as well.

I am not sure how to upload the music files to the server.

Out of interest what course are you doing? Because Flash websites died years ago.

Erm... I don't think we understand eachother, I don't want you to help me create the flash file or anything like that only asking for advice on how to upload the music files to the server, because I am not sure as they are MP3 format at the moment, and when I upload them using FileZilla they don't seem to upload.

I dont know why you think Flash Websites are dead, I have seen a few around.

Do it the same way you uploaded the flash/html and then link locally rather than externally, I'm assuming you used FTP?

I am using FileZilla and Zymic website to host the file, when I navigate to the mp3 files from my USB pen and press upload they don't upload, but when I upload on my .html file that uploads and it works, thats why I was able to send you the link above the web page, but the audio and video page don't work because I can't upload the music and the videos to the server.

Do you think all the videos and mp3 files are to large for the server?

Or embed all of your flash files resources into the flash file so that it doesn't have to pull from elsewhere.

That's easily Googleable.

Hey, I got the videos embed into flash, but still they don't seem to work. once i upload to the server

Are you sure you've published your flash file properly?

Yep, but for some reason when i go in Flash > File > Import > Import to library > and click on the .mp3 files it says file can not be uploaded.

But when try the same thing with a shorter MP3 file it works. is it just the size? because its a full song. 3.40 i think

I wouldn't have thought so. Does flash require mp3s with specific audio properties to work? Bit rate? Mono?

Try another bigger file and see if that works.

I think I found where the problem was, The ZYMC server host didn't have enought space to actually upload the files to the server, I just uploaded some of the files to a different FTP server and it works.
