HTPC 6450 or 620?

As title need a silent Graphics Card, must do sound over HDMI without issues (do any cards still suffer from HDMI device not plugged in, the on board I have on this old PC does!)

Running on Windows 8.1, both are about £30.

I have both HD6450 and GT620, both passive. 6450 is in N54L and 620 in a PC without iGPU. both work no problems.

For general use (if you don't need eg. 1 slot card, I'd go with whichever is cheaper)

Just get the 5450 at 20 quid....the 6450 offers very little for the extra...

Why the 6450 over the 5450?

Cost difference being so little for some extra performance (IF any gaming) but video wise the same. Still think haswell (e.g Celeron 2955u) be way to go for purely HTPC small gigabyte brixx or chromebox.

As neither AMD or Nvidia have proper 23.976 but then depends how much of a videophille you are.
